This is a set 10 photos I took 105mm F14 of the March fly to try out focus stacking but never found the right program. this is stacked in Picolay you can see why the March Fly sting when they bite. I was waiting to move the very large bonsai after I was all set up to take photos of a bonsai on tripod I saw the hover Fly. See if you can see the wings they never stopped at all, if you look large you can see it feeding on the pollen of the flower. australian.museum/learn/animals/insects/hover-flies
