Eclipsed moon

excellent quality, must have been a very clear sky!

Benny when you consider i an in Perth in my back yard looking at the moon out over the sea to the west came out well. i still lost my window in the clouds very quickly but at least i was able to get some shots.i personally love this shot you get to see stars and an inky black sky. glad you like it.

Thank you i still enjoy our moon i still am thinking do i do a collage of the moons i got i can space out 7 moons on one shot not a huge story but still worth doing. thanks Danni

Many thanks Peter is is not some thing you could not do yourself it is all about setting up the camera though to get the best out of the shot. the longer lens is proving to be a great tool i am getting more and more out of. the skies being clearer they would be we are in winter which is always clearer skies than summer by a mile.

i am at home in the middle of all the light pollution but you can see the result - set up, lens and tripod. not the same as a milky way shot though. you should give it a try yourself. all the very best to you.

Thanks Frano if you look at the shots the north hemisphere put up as well you see the different orientation of the two hemispheres have. this is an uncropped shot from the camera the value of a longer lens.
