The last little bit of the Earths Shadow

When I got home I took a photo of the full Bright moon. Below the Shots I took from the Coast so I could get as Much distance from the Cloud bank to try and see the moon as soon as I could. I can not get over how much detail of the Surface of the moon is captured. Well worth a look large. .

It was close to 8pm when the moon started to come out from behind the heavy bank of clouds.

clouded last night , clouds building rest of the week, I took this just in case. Friday the moon is the other end of the line of planets from Monday.

The night after i arrived in NZ it was a clear night ( nothing but heavy cloud since i was lucky) so i went out to Whatapu head on the west coast looking Due west . the very last of the milky way for this season is sitting just above the horizon. Nine Pin ( Light house)and Moon are the light sources for this shot. My lap top dies third day got it fixed only to have it fail again. so a new one coming this is stitched cropped but not edited. shot low tide with the tide rising. first shot of the night. I wish i could say Venus and Mars but no Mars Just the moon............. hand held as i left for work.....
