Baby : snake-necked turtle

The thick part of the leaf is 15mm wide if that, i had to stop my wife stepping on it as we walk around our swamp . this is the second on our walks we have seen around the swamp on the path in the three fine days we have been able to walk. the older gentleman who was walking behind us could not see it asked me if i needed a hand to get back up. he had never seen one before. i took my phone just in case yes its still wet.

Best Wishes, and a good weekend.

PS, I hope that you had some success with the eclipse. We only had clouds!
Steve Paxton club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubi was presently surprised to see the moon through a hole in the clouds but i was prepared to not see anything at all. certainly cold and wet weekend.
