I have been the last time 10 years ago for about 2 weeks and I find Venice fantastic. So different from any other town I know or visited.

I only had a few hours would have loved more time to walk the back streets where i found this well away from the main square.

Yes, this was the best.I had been maybe twice before, but only on a day , that is few hours, then I had to go back with the train. This last time I could see the back streets and things far from the places full of tourists.

If you look there are so many fences but what got me was the door under water we both know Venice and its problems as it slowly goes under water. Man would i love a shot at digital not the same when every shot cost on film. many thanks on a HFF from the bottom of the world.

you can imagine it really was in its day when first made but thats how a lot of building in Europe look gives them the aged lived in took. HFF i hope that you get a fine weekend well clouded here.

It would have been nice to see it when it was built.. and in another 100 years time!
