Pork Filet
Today's dinner. I watched a video the other day of northern German farms. Three farms were shown, describing how people live, work and all about the families. In one farm kitchen I watched Grandma make this dinner for Easter for the entire family of eight. It looked so delicious that I had to try to make it for us. You have to take my word for it, it was delicious. I served stewed tomatoes and mango with cherry sauce as side dishes.

Doerthe club has replied to klaus 040 clubAmerikanisch essen mag ich nicht: Mac & cheese with hot dogs, Pizza, Hamburger, und dann wieder von vorne. Steaks koennen wir uns nicht mehr leisten: $21/Pfund. Ich hab doch immer deutsch gekocht, nur solches Schweinefilet hab ich noch nie gemacht. Aber in ein paar Tagen werd ich mal wieder irisch kochen: Corned beef & cabbage, das gibt's in Deutschland nicht und schmeckt ganz toll. Eigentlich ist das eine Malzeit fuer den 17. Maerz, St. Patrick's Day.
