Die 14 Herren stehen nahe am Stadtstrand von Vancouver. Kinder spielen dort Verstecken und tollen auf dem Sand herum. Die Gesichter der Herren mögen bedrohlich aussehen, jedoch sollen sie die Passanten ermutigen, laut zu lachen. Jedes Gesicht hat einen etwas anderen Ausdruck. A-maze-ing Laughter is a 2009 bronze sculpture by Yue Minjun, located in Morton Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada A-maze-ing Laughter was designed by Yue Minjun and installed in Morton Park (Davie and Denman) along the English Bay in West End, Vancouver in 2009. The patinated bronze sculpture, composed of 14 statues each about three metres tall and weighing over 250 kilograms, portrays the artist's own image "in a state of hysterical laughter". It was created as part of the Vancouver International Sculpture Biennale, which exhibits international contemporary works in public spaces. The sculpture was donated to the City of Vancouver by Chip and Shannon Wilson through the Wilson5 Foundation on August 11, 2012. Die "Mary Ann", eine historische Dampfeisenbahn fährt jeden Donnerstag, wenn in der Innenstadt Markt ist durch den Park. Am Markttag sind einige Straßen um das Rathaus herum gesperrt und es gibt Marktstände jeder Couleur, vom deutschen Brot bis Solaranlagen, Eier vom Bauernhof, Klamotten, Blumen, Andenken, Handwerkskunst und, und und.

Das Pordoijoch (ital. Passo Pordoi) ist mit einer Scheitelhöhe von 2239 m s.l.m. der zweithöchste mit einer durchgehend asphaltierten Straße versehene Gebirgspass in den Dolomiten Italiens. Es verbindet Canazei im Fassatal (ital. Val di Fassa), Provinz Trentino mit dem Tal von Buchenstein (Ortsteil Arabba) / Venetien. Das Pordoijoch ist umgeben vom 3181 m hohen Langkofel (im Nordwesten), den zum Sella-Massiv gehörenden Plateaufelsen Sass Pordoi (2950 m), Sass de Forca (2917 m) und der höchsten Felsspitze Piz Boè (3152 m) im Norden, sowie dem nördlichen Vorkamm der Marmolata-Gruppe im Süden, zu dem Belvedere (2510 m) und Porta Vescovo (2562 m) gehören. Dieser Vorkamm verdeckt die Aussicht auf die Marmolata, die erst von der Kammhöhe aus zu sehen ist. Südöstlich des Pordoijochs auf venetischer Seite entspringt der Fluss Cordevole, der das Buchensteintal durchfließt und 70 Kilometer weiter südlich in den Piave mündet; er ist der größte rechte Nebenfluss des Piave. Die Aussicht nach Osten reicht über Arabba hinweg auf die Fanesgruppe und Le Tofane. Pordoi is a pass in the Dolomites in the Alps, located between the Sella group in the north and the Marmolada group in the south. The pass is at an altitude of 2,239 m (7,346 ft), and the road crossing the pass connects Arabba (Livinallongo del Col di Lana) with Canazei (Fascia Valley). It is the second highest surfaced road traversing a pass in the Dolomites, after the Sella Pass. Pordoi Pass is the second of seven Dolomite mountain passes that riders cross in the annual Maratona dles Dolomites single-day bicycle race. A memorial to Fausto Coppi stands at the summit of the pass.

Lady Mary was killed in a coach accident very soon after, devastating Sir Charles.

The lower deck of the bridge carries a roadway, which connects Oberbaum Straße to the south of the river with Warschauer Straße to the north.
