Hi everybody,

The SPC is now open.

Submit up to three photos before 22:00 Rome time, 30 June.

Please check the rules, especially section 2 with details on how to upload by email.

You must include your ipernity name in the email message, otherwise we will not know who sent the photo, (the sender's address is not shown).

If your archives are missing a suitable photo, you have until the end of the month, giving you time to take new photos for the contest, because you must not use any photos already in your ipernity gallery.

If you see a photo and think the moderator has made a mistake to include it, especially if you are the winner who chose the theme. Please send a message to Iper SPC with your opinion, and do not raise your concern in public.

Many thanks Herb for setting the subject for the competition and for your kind message. My appreciation and thanks and indeed congratulations to all who participated and voted in this competition and particularly to Paulo and Agatha for their well deserved placings. . I felt the standard of the entries was extremely high and I am honoured to have been chosen as the overall winner. I will now give some thought to finding a suitable subject for the next competition.

If I understand your proposal correctly you are suggesting photos of empty places taken by people who were breaking the lockdown !!! if I walk 150m from my home I am in a lockdown area essential travel only that's today not in the past.
Being a strange person I don't drive I can't legally travel to the the train station if I did I could be stopped by the transport police and asked why I want to travel, there are buses but you are discouraged from using them, most are empty

I regret to say that I do not have much spare energy for the SPC, only noticing a day late that we had no topic. Roger did reply with an uploaded banner picture, but not by ipermail, thus I asked next in line Paolo.

In short, who prefers Roger's theme, "Reflections" to Paolo's suggestion?

I prefer Roger's theme, "Reflections" since in a circle of at least 300 km around me none historically places which crowded of people. St. Mark's Square, Partenon, Colosseum, Taj Mahal ... was far from me. And I couldn’t even get to those places during the pandemic because there was a ban on movement.
I do not understand, two hours ago SPC is open,and also two hours ago the question arises which topic do we prefer?

Me too. I don't have photo of a time when we could not go out. And I would not let me see with the camera when police was looking around asking what are you doing here.
Each month the same history. And I have problems with the pc, at least with some site.

I hope you will change the theme.
