Taken a little after sunrise and before my previous image, as the Hurtigruten ship "MV Nordkapp" passed by. Sorry, I can't ID the other red ship, but this is best viewed large. The 'Peace Cathedral' in Bodo was built in 1956 to replace a church destroyed (with most of Bodo) during WW2. While it may look unexciting in concrete (see PiP 1), the interior is quite attractive (Pip 2). My visit was enhanced by a lovely organ recital (sorry, I didn't get a shot of the organ). I also was intrigued by the large woven rugs on the walls (PiP 2). Explored. When I'd taken auroral images in the Antarctic long ago, I used a tripod (I had only very slow film). This time I had high ISO and a tripod, but shooting from the deck of a moving ship meant I should have used an even faster shutter.
