Finishing 2022
Wrapping up 2022 with a trip to my local beach. There always are questions! What will the beach look like in a short extra walk over the dune? What will the new year 2023 bring? I'm now likely to be offline for a few days into the new year.

Summer at the beach
Low tide on my local beach at sunset. The same scene in daylight in the PiP - busy compared to the usual, because of the 'holiday crowds'. The water is delightful at present, the day temperature today about 28 and a light sea breeze.

Christmas fruit
One of the pleasures of Christmas in Australia is that all kinds of fruit have just ripened, such as the lovely fresh cherries in this little bowl. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, with or without the fruit.
Among all the carols and other ditties about Rudolph and such on the radio , we no longer hear this item from the brilliant Tom Lehrer, the lyrics seeming more relevant now than ever.
Catch this!
The lady has just thrown a small fish (see note) to the two waiting Australian pelicans.

Bench with a view
My previous post was an image of this landscape seen at the roadside lookout (see PiP). Even better is that there is a bench, should you wish to sit and enjoy the view.
