From an old slide
I've been copying some of my old slides to digital. This one of the Sydney Opera House was from Dec 65, and taken from a Manly Ferry. Copied from a Perutz slide. See also Pip, taken a little later on the trip.

Macro Mondays - Car button or switch
For Macro Mondays group 22/1/2024, topic #345, ""Button or switch in the car"" .
For me, this is one of the most important switches - yesterday (summer here) it was 36C outside. And I live in one of the cooler areas of our country.
Let's make a wish
So many things we could wish for while sitting at the bench and wishing well! Looks best viewed large on black. HBM and have a good week, everyone.
Despite what the 'Location' tool says, this is not at a church, it's in a park.
Koalas
More images of koalas (this time without fences) at the Philip Island Wildlife Park . See also PiP.
Out for a walk
Koala taking a walk at Philip Island Wildlife Park . In the PiPs are tourists having a koala encounter (the second in a tree).
Happy Fence Friday and have a great weekend, everyone.
Among the greenery
I shall be away for a few days, but I'll leave you with this bench among the greenery of the Dandenong Ranges, near Melbourne. For now, I wish everyone a Happy Bench Monday and a good week to follow.
Hay bales
This was taken in coastal Victoria, adjacent to Western Port Bay and near Phillip Island, not a place I'd have expected to see hay bales.
Street end fence
Fence where street ends and park begins.
The "Big Merino"
With the "Big Banana" (at Coffs Harbour) the "Big Merino" in Goulburn is probably one of Australia's best known "Big" tourist landmarks. You can read more about it here. I was fortunate that these people decided to pose just when I had the camera ready!
