Garden walls
Seen at an apartment unit block in Sydney. Happy Wednesday Wall , everyone.
New Fish Markets
Unlikely as it may seem, the Fish Markets are among Sydney's more visited tourist attractions, particularly for visitors from Asia. The current Fish Markets are old and inadequate (just off to the left of this image), so that large sweeping building is being constructed to house new ones. It is due for completion late this year.
Meanwhile, there are benches in the foreground, so it's time to wish everyone a Happy Bench Monday - and a good week to follow.

La Jamais Contente
I've long been interested in historic cars and this one deserves far more recognition. It is "La Jamais Contente", which in 1899 became the world's fastest road vehicle and the first to exceed 100 km/hr. It also ran on an electric motor. I saw it in the museum at Le Bourget Airport in Paris (it is now in the National Car and Tourism Museum in Compiègne). I thought ot this when I visited an electric vehicle show in Sydney (the PiP shows just a tiny corner of the large building-wide display). .
Sydney Harbour and bridge
A quiet corner of Sydney Harbour and the ANZAC Bridge, complete with a background statement. :-) Looks best viewed large.
Wishing everyone a Happy Fence Friday and a good weekend to follow.
Sydney park and wall
A park with walls in Sydney, seen from a coffee shop. :-)
Wishing everyone a Happy Wednesday Wall.
Braidwood bandstand
This bandstand sits in Ryrie Park in central Braidwood. I don't know its history, but I'll guess early 20th century. I'm heading away and will be offline for several days from tomorrow, but that combination of a fence in the background and a bench in the foreground should cover me until I return! :-)
Happy Fence Friday and have a great weekend everyone.

Relaxing
I'm having a quiet night, relaxing and enjoying this lovely bottle of 2006 Shiraz, from a favourite winery, that I found packed away when I shifted residence recently . Even better, I understand it's Thirsty Thursday today.
Braidwood Courthouse
The Braidwood Courthouse is a Federation style brick building, built in 1900 to replace an earlier one. It is not now in use as a courthouse, but is used for government offices and the local police station. It is alongside the Post Office (earlier image in PiP). Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone. .
Braidwood Post Office
Braidwood is the only entire township on the Heritage Register for New South Wales, as it still retains almost all the buildings from the 1800s. This is the Post Office, built in 1865 as the telegraph Office. In the background is the old courthouse.
Happy Bench Monday, everyone.
