Border bench
Yes, Australia has borders - between the different States. This is the Northern Territory and South Australia border, where there is a bench (see note) and some much needed shade. As I write this, the temperature out there is over 40C. One from the archives. HBM and have a good week, everyone.

Repurposed fence
This section of timber fence is typical of many old style rural fences in Australia. I don't know its history, but it has been repurposed at this house as a garden decoration. HFF and have a great weekend, everyone.
Haven Mews
The end wall of a block of residential units in a beachside area, not built in the current "high rise box"style. HWW, everyone.
Laos wall
Seen in Luang Prabang, the royal capital in French colonial days. One from my archives.
I'm likely to be largely offline for the coming week. Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone.

Big bench
We saw this big bench near Beijing, in a shop visited as part of our tour to the Great Wall. Although it's impressive, I'm not sure that guests would be delighted to sit on it as it looks far from comfortable! Happy Bench Monday, everyone, and have a good week.
Former Yards
The very derelict remains of what was once a set of yards for working and loading cattle. Happy Fence Friday and have a great weekend, everyone.

Wednesday Wall
I saw this wall at the local High School. While most of the artwork has an Australian context, I was intrigued to also see a quote from Dr Martin Luther King. Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone.
