Tourist on wall

From the archives. An old Australian tourist changing from behind the camera to pose on a famous wall in China. Another image from nearby in the PiP. Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone.

Beijing shops

Taken late afternoon following a day sightseeing, the tour finished with a visit to this large tourist-oriented shopping centre. Wishing everyone a Happy Fence Friday and a great weekend to follow. Remarkably, serving Australian-style Flat White coffee!

Beijing wall

Another from the archives and the traditional area of Beijing. Again taken from the cyclist-powered rickshaw. This highly decorated wall really stood out. Wishing everyone a Happy Wednesday Wall.

Beijing bench

Lacking a new bench image, I dug into my archives and found this. Taken in the traditional area of Beijing, from a cyclist-powered rickshaw with another ahead. Happy Bench Monday, everyone, and have a good week.

Sunset storm

These passing cumulonimbus clouds with the typical anvil shape were, from the weather radar, about 40 km distant from me. A short thunderstorm for some. Best viewed large.

HMB Endeavour (replica)

This full size replica of HMB Endeavour (as sailed by James Cook) is at the Sydney Maritime Museum. There also are some fences here, so Happy Fence Friday everyone, and have a good weekend.
