Bayside Bench
Beachside benches alongside Batemans Bay and about 1km of beach. Wishing everyone a Happy Bench Monday and a good week to follow.
Over the golf course
Today I had a meeting at a local golf club, where I saw this view from the clubhouse across the playing fields - and the outside fence. :-) Happy Fence Friday and have a great weekend, everyone.t

Abandoned
Petrol station, now closed and abandoned, on the road to South Australia. At least it has a wall!
Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone
Your choice
I'll get in first and grab the farthest one, as it has a backrest. :-) Wishing everyone a Happy Bench Monday and a good week to follow.
Bitumen's end
An image I omitted to post when I returned from this trip. Taken far in the outback of western Queensland, where the country is (mostly) very flat - and where most of the roads are unsealed.
Two tone ocean
Taken near the mouth of a river, a day or two after a substantial (about 100mm) rainfall event: such extremes are becoming more common with climate change The brown river run-off has a different density to the ocean water, so they do not mix readily..
Wishing everyone a Happy Fence Friday and a great weekend to follow.

Lunar New Year
This year, January 29 is the first day of the Lunar New Year, (on the Chinese zodiac) being the Year of the Snake . Read about the symbolism of it here. Happy Lunar New Year, everyone.
An archival photo from my former rural property, I think it's a White Lipped Snake (Drysdalia coronoides). These are venemous but timid by nature.

Once was
Seen in outback NSW. It would be fascinating to know the history of this derelict old building. Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone.
