Bus on the beach
The tour bus took us for a drive on "90 Mile Beach", a long gently sloping beach of firm sand which opens as an official road (60km/hr limit) when the tide drops. The bus even takes a run in the shallow edge water and later other traffic passes - see PiPs.
New Zealand tour bus
I travelled on this Scania bus (see also PiPs) on the most northern leg of my New Zealand tour. The driver indicated that its suspension had been updated for limited off-road use. The stray light reflections were an unexpected addition to the image.
Bridge and fence
This image of the Batemans Bay bridge ticks all the boxes - fence, wall (with mural) and bench!

A very old and faded sign. Cottee's is an Australian food and beverage brand founded in 1927. I suspect this sign must not date from much later!

Hair's breadth
For Macro Mondays weekly project No 371: theme "Hair's breadth".
These hairs are on my little West Highland Terrier. If you'd care to get your measuring device, you can find an average distance of a hair's breadth between them. :-)
Today at the beach
A lovely sunny afternoon and, apart from a couple of people walking dogs, nobody on the local beach. The picnic benches are there waiting for you! Happy Bench Monday, everyone.
From the motel

Macro Mondays - 1 cm
For Macro Mondays weekly project No 370: Theme "Anything that measures 1 cm or 10 mm". I think the shiny top of this pen (less the button) comes very close to the size required - see also the PiP.
