Winter's day
A very pleasant late winter's day at Maloneys Beach, as a friend and I went for a walk in the National Park. This view looking across Batemans Bay.
NOTE for my friends here on ipernity. Matters unrelated to photography (all good) are likely to require much of my time for a while, so I'm afraid my involvement here may be somewhat limited.

From the train
Taken from the train en-route to Sydney, while passing through Coniston station.
Wishing everyone a Happy Bench Monday and a good week to follow.
On the morning walk
Every morning my old dog takes me out for a walk. This morning we wandered down this path to the beach (PiP), with the Tollgate Islands in the distance. On the right, the Coastal Wattle is coming into bloom, showing winter is almost over.
Happy Fence Friday and have a good weekend, everyone.

Historic New Zealand house
Unlike most colonised countries, the British settlement in New Zealand was formalised with a treaty with the local Maori people in 1840. This was the house of the British Resident who was heavily involved in drafting the Waitangi Treaty . When I visited work was being done on the grounds, hence the fence. Happy Fence Friday and have a good weekend, everyone.
Sandboarding
When the bus stopped on the beach in New Zealand (PiP) there was an opportunity to go sandboarding down the dunes. I think this qualifies for inclusion as a Happy Wednesday Wall.
