Thank you George. There had been a lot of rain prior to this visit, but there was no flooding in the village, although the river is quite high. Blandford, where the River Stour runs much wider, is also covering the surrounding fields!

And there's even Fontmell Parva...perfect! Now it definitely sounds like an episode of Inspector Barnaby. Speaking of which...there was a new one on TV last night. We usually get to see them a little later as they have to be dubbed in German first!! That's not what I want, but I suppose all those German voices don't want to lose their jobs ;-)

The tall pole and the attached power/telephone wires are perfectly place in the frame and the wires seem to join the elements of the shot together.

Such a beautiful place with some lovely houses and walls and the river passing through. Great to see a bit of sunshine and blue skies.

Yes that's right Fabio. There are a few villages in Somerset with Magna in their name, but not so many containing Parva. Having said that, I will probably find that there are now :-)
