Geologisch dominiert im Gantrischgebiet der Flysch, also ein relativ wasserundurchlässiges Meeressediment. Die Landschaftsformen werden geprägt durch den weichen Flysch, der zu Rutschungen neigt. Es gibt hier also tief eingeschnittene Bachtobel und schmale Rücken und hohe Hügel.
Aber die Erosion macht sich hier auch gut. ;-))

Herb, before winter comes, in many mountain areas the wire is dismantled and laid on the ground so that you don't stumble over it in the half-high snow. But here I could not find a wire either
