Da waren wir 1996.

Berny, ich war 1996 auch drüben, aber für den Antelope Canyon war die Zeit zu kurz.

When we are there it is quite disappointing, the guides rushing you, too many people, not always the light and the time to spot you wish... but nevertheless great photos are always possible... as yours!

Isabel, yes, I have heard from other people that it is very hectic now and has a lot of people. The visiting times are drawn by lot among the visitors.
We had been there for about 4-5 hours and in that time we met maybe 10 other people.

That was great... in my visit the guide pointed us spots to photograph but was always rushing us, so no pleasure. But after I was surprised with my pics... www.ipernity.com/doc/xata/album/1241568

Obwohl nur etwa 200 m lang, waren wir mehrere Stunden in dem Canyon.

Den Antelope Canyon haben wir leider verpasst, Poly, obwohl wir mehrere Tage am Lake Powell und natürlich auch in Page waren :-(((. Ob er vielleicht 1988 noch nicht für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich war??? Und dieses schöne Foto rückst du erst 20 Jahre später raus ;-) ???

Ja, da hast du wirklich etwas verpasst! Ich denke schon, dass er 1988 schon zugänglich war.
Die Fotos hatte ich schon in Panoramio gezeigt. Hier hatte ich bis jetzt nicht gross den Drang, mit altem Material aufzuwarten, aber in letzter Zeit ergab sich hier ein gewisses Nostalgie-Feeling, so dass ich mich fast gezwungen sah, eine ► Nostalgie-Gruppe zu eröffnen. ;-)

An die Fotos erinnere ich mich, sie sind immer noch erste Sahne!
