From West Bay to Seaford Head - 18.11.2015

From West Bay to Seaford Head - 18.11.2015
West Bay is the sandiest beach for many miles either way. Unfortunately the Harbour Authority won't allow anyone on it, because of the state of the surrounding walls.
Outside the protection of the breakwater, to the right, the sea was pretty rough, with waves crashing over the breakwater.

I'm not sure you deserve a HFF, Steve, but seeing as you seem to be in complimentary mood - HFF - what's left of it.

Thanks, Gudrun. There's a bit more money coming into the port in the future as a new offshore wind farm is developed and Newhaven will be its supply and support base. So maybe the Port Authority will have the cash to do the necessary repairs.
HFF and a good weekend.

If nothing can be done about the state of the walls, they should be fenced off and then peeps allowed back on the beach.
