Waves rosette mono disc

Waves rosette mono disc
The basic component of this design is a Photoshop Elements 'shape' 'waves 2' - three rows of three connected arcs, forming waves. A single row has been duplicated and turned through 15 or so degrees and the process repeated and reversed, treated with 'glass button' (surprise surprise!) and converted to mono. The background disc is a radial gradient, which has then been treated with 'paint daubs - sparkle'

Thanks, John. There are several elements to the appearance of depth. The use of the 'Glass button' effect gives the wave shapes a 3D look. One could use a bevel effect to get a similar look. They also have a small amount of 'drop shadow' under each element. Finally the disc at the back was formed initially using a radial gradient, that started dark at the centre and gets lighter as it goes outwards. That was given another treatment with an effect called 'paint daubs - sparkle' which created the shimmery appearance. That also was given a drop shadow.
