Stick a twig on top and it looks OK

Stick a twig on top and it looks OK
Someone - you know who you are - commented that my recent Photoshop doodles looked like colourful versions of the Rorschach Ink Blot test, which originated from pouring ink on to paper with a fold in the middle and then pressing the two sides together to make a symmetrical pattern. To find out how it was (and maybe still is) used in psychological testing, you will need to search elsewhere. So to break out of the symmetrical mould I threw together this concoction - more colour graduations, layers, distortions etc.
etc.
If you want a little more of the background to this concoction, I have uploaded an earlier version with an account of this one's development. www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/40379980

Hadn't thought about the ink blot tests until I read this, but now I can see where they're coming from and, although there was nothing wrong with them, I do love this new direction you're moving in. Great processing! :)

I'm not sure there's much direction to the movement, but thanks for your encouragement, Paul. I'll see if I can remember how I got to this one and try some more.

It was one of my more popular designs some time ago. I have been adding some of my images to groups that they haven't been in before. I don't put my photos or digital images in many groups initially. I am not keen on very general groups. I prefer groups that have a focus or common theme. It is also nice to accept invitations to add images to groups I don't belong to. So thank you for your suggestions.
