The Explorers ...

Once a upon a time -
There were 3 Explorers - [ aka 'The Saxapahaw Three' ]
All had found each other through -
Ipernity Photo-sharing -
Imagine that -
One came from the UK (but lived in the middle of a vast land called Oklahoma) -
Another came from far away, but lived not too far down the road in North Carolina -
The 3rd one -
Well, she lived up the road from the soon-to-meet friend in North Carolina -

What an interesting thing -
'Oklahoma' .. some of my friends called her that -
And I met at the Airport (my spouse asked "will y'all have enough to talk about?")
Oh, yes he was serious -
And we haven't run out of things to talk about even if we speak in silence -

Each Day Lily represents one of these Souls -
All are beautiful -
Treasured -
Oh, there is no way to explain how much -

We traveled to Saxapahaw -
Had lunch in a 5-Star Gas Station / General Store -
Which was better at Lunch -
The Food or the People we met -
We sat with the Man Who Walks the Haw -
Have his business card safely tucked away -
Just in case -
