A PEACH blossom!!! FANTASTIC!!! What a gorgeous flower, Pam!! I've never seen a peach flower before, it's exquisite! :) CONGRATULATIONS on Explore, isn't that wonderful (and WELL DESERVED!)! :) I've been reading your comments about Explore and I completely agree--an Explore-worthy picture shouldn't always be about "the most professional" picture, but any beautiful picture, memorable, cool, etc picture should be considered too! I also think that once you're on the "Explore Radar", you have a much higher chance of getting your pictures Explored from then on.

These few peach blossoms are precious for me in that the tree is old and this is it "Last Hurrahh" if you like.

Re Explore... just my personal feelings that folk perhaps need to remember occasionally why they take photos....meaning... for the Joy of it.

Superb detail on this shot, Pam. In China, the farmers put the young fruit in plastic bags as it grows to keep the birds away. I wonder whether that would work for racoons. They are bright animals.

They would just take the bags off ! BUT... I dont begrudge them at all. Its not like its my livlihood... and I understand the frustration if it were. They will have the Persimmons after the first frost... they will leave me some Pears. Live and let live., We are on their land ..... they have hard enough lives.
