This looks a lot like a plant we call "African Violets", but it grows inside in a small bowl.

Definitely not the cultivated potted African Violets I know.. they are huge compared to this..and very different. So I assume you mean something different.

Speedwell's grow in many places.. I remember them in the UK and Europe
