I just wish I knew how it was suddenly 8 years on.

Its been a very hard road for Flicka.... and for me .. to try and help him. I have had animals all of my life.. but he was the biggest challenge.. but he is my Velcro Boy... and I love him dearly.

By the way, guess what I did?! I took a bunch of the seeds that you gave me and I have them sitting between moist paper towels to see if any of them will pop! I also have some of my mule ears and Green Eyed Rudbeckias. Cross your fingers--it will completely amaze me if any of them grow...I don't know why, it just seems too amazing! :)

I WAS going to seedify last weekend.. then we got solid white ice and -10F

I lost some things I have nursed all winter in the potting shed... Frankly.. I am almost ready to throw the towel in . Drought is bad enough.Freezing drought was insult to injury.

Anyway.. its 55 today . Sunday is supposed to be 57 and Sunday 70.. we have been here before ............

So.. decision.. I am just going to sow straight to the ground.... kind of throwing the gauntlet down !
