This picture makes sense right-side-up and up-side-down! There is a horizon for each. Besides the usual reflections from water, part of the image was perhaps made by refraction under water! It was dry when I picked it up, but the paper had obviously been soaked. Crazy! From the same location as This One

Most of my recent cans have had a lot of water. This one did too, but I carefully carried it out and got it all the way home without tipping it. Then I tipped it over when I was getting out of my car and made those splash marks :-(. I might see if they wash off if I try to fix this one, but I don't think they will.

I was at the beach picking up a solargraphy camera in the late and very foggy evening yesterday. These incredible wildflowers were on the cliffs above the sea. Over the weekend I made a new "pinholaroid" camera, so I tried with a 2 minute exposure. When I got home I calculated the exposure including reciprocity failure and came up over with 20 minutes!! Anyway this is from my first pack of film through the new camera.

I just discovered the path along this creek a few weeks ago, and it's only about 15 minutes from my house. It's wonderful, and I've been going there a lot. Several miles of peaceful trail along the creek. My dog Mango loves it too, of course.

First picture from my new " Red Rooster Cam ". "Red Rooster" is a kind of coffee from a local Sonoma County coffee roaster. This is a new sibling for my " Goat Rock Cam "! I guessed 4 minutes for this one.

Not quite what I envisioned, but it's getting there: I wanted even more of the low contrast, soft "pencil drawing" look . This roll was a little overdeveloped. I have learned a lot from developing and printing this last roll of FP4+ so I'm happy about that. Straight print 18 June 2013.
