Milton Common, Portsmouth (+PiP)

Taken during a walk yesterday morning (Tuesday). It turned out to be the hottest day of the year and so I only stayed out for an hour or so.
Please check out the PiP for a look at some of the wildflowers on the common.

Here it has been around 35°C until yesterday, temperatures are down today but it's still very humid....
35 degrees C..!! Wow! It's rarely that hot here...............the past couple of summers we've had places that reached 40 degrees, but normally or just a day or so. Nowadays, I struggle with anything over 25 degrees.........especially if it's humid as well.
Horses are not allowed on this land, so the Ragwort is free to flower and keep the bees happy!
