According to the Royal Entomological Society there are 300,000 to 400,000 species of beetle which have been identified (so far)! So me and you still have a lot to find :-)))

400.000 Käfer bestimmen und fotografieren, das wäre aber ein wenig mehr als eine Lebensaufgabe, Keith, besonders , wenn alle Fotos so gut werden sollen wie hier. Es wäre aber schon viel, wenn du jeden Monat einen neuen präsentieren könntest, das wären dann in 40 Jahren 480 Käfer-Arten (wenn unsere chemische Industrie so viele noch überleben lässt).

I can't argue with those facts Ruesterstaude............I probably wouldn't live long enough to even make a start............but I'm always on the lookout for something new..!!
