Taken at Stansted Park, West Sussex and showing Stansted House, an Edwardian mansion which stands in 1800 acres of parkland and ancient forest within the South Downs National Park. Due to Covid 19 the house and the grounds immediately surrounding it are closed until Easter 2021 but the rest of the park and the forest remain open to the public,

Happy Fence Friday to you all. I hope you have a lovely day and are looking forward to the weekend. Thank you to those who have visited my photo-stream over the past week, especially if you've left a comment or yellow star.

Stay safe everyone!

More info on the house and park here: www.stanstedpark.co.uk if anyone is interested.

Thanks Maurice. This one is not actually a NT property.

It was purchased by Vere Ponsonby, 9th Earl of Bessborough, in 1924. Since 1983 the House and Estate have been owned by the Stansted Park Foundation, a charitable trust charged with the preservation of the estate for the benefit of the nation. The trust was set up by Frederick Ponsonby, 10th Earl of Bessborough, who died without a male heir in 1993. (Wickipedia)
