Spanish Slug

A proper treat for you this evening........my apologies to anyone who's browsing whilst eating :-)).
The name Spanish Slug is a misnomer - there is no actual evidence that this lovely creature came to this country from Spain. It is definitely considered an invasive species though and it was first recorded in England in 1954.
Best viewed large on black, but I'll understand if you'd rather not :-))

Thanks for your latest comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures...heh...they were all taken with my phone camera, through bug-spattered glass, believe it or not. (a closer look betrays any illusion of quality!) I was so happy that even still, I got lots of really neat shots! Isn't that fun?!
LOL, yeah, our trailer is big, esp when thinking about your neck of the woods...it would never work!! Measuring in at 39' 4", ours is actually quite a bit smaller than many rigs out there. We had a cutoff at 40' because that's when it gets difficult to find places that can accommodate the size. National parks were the decider--bigger than 40' and it's going to be a losing battle finding a campsite big enough. This trailer is about 4' longer than our last one, though it seems much bigger. In truth, it's a lot bigger because instead of one slide in the Grey Wolf, it's got FOUR slides...opposing slides in the kitchen/living room, one in the mini bedroom and one in the master bedroom. It's quite spacious! Walking around inside it's night-and-day roomy compared to the Grey Wolf and the space is so much more intelligently laid out. Let me know if you'd like a link to the website page...it's even got a virtual tour!
