Thanks very much Herb.........always appreciated. The derelict building is pretty much all that is left of what used to be Fraser Gunnery Range, owned by the Royal Navy. The range closed in the late 70s and the site became an Admiralty Research Establishment until closing completely in 2006. It is now being demolished to build much needed housing.

Isn't it wonderful to have a perfectly good excuse to post another wonderful fence picture! The light in the sky is absolutely amazing! I just never get this lucky shots, well done! :)

The Portsmouth area has a huge amount of forts, both on land and at sea. We're spoiled for choice sometimes :-)
