Autumn Colours

Taken this afternoon in the Forest of Bere, Hampshire. This beech tree was actually adjacent to the car park and was the only one with any decent colour. It was a pleasant walk though.........and there is a mobile coffee stall in the car park which also does cakes! I might have indulged myself ;-)

Your comment, A cornucopia of extraordinarily pulchritudinous images Janet! had me giggling like a fool, you silly man! I'm so glad you are enjoying the show!
I am envious that you have golden echinacea in your garden, you lucky man! Aren't they fun to photograph?! I think it's very difficult to take a bad picture of these flowers! It would be so nice to have a garden overflowing with with different species! I wish that you could go to Butchart Gardens because it would be fun to see the different pictures you came up with. I know that you would have a fantastic time, of course! :) Oh, I'm glad you like the hosta picture, we both love them so. I was amused at your comment about them, for us it's just too dry and there's no shade for them. And the deer and squirrels of course, MEH!
