Spanish Slug

A proper treat for you this evening........my apologies to anyone who's browsing whilst eating :-)).
The name Spanish Slug is a misnomer - there is no actual evidence that this lovely creature came to this country from Spain. It is definitely considered an invasive species though and it was first recorded in England in 1954.
Best viewed large on black, but I'll understand if you'd rather not :-))

One night about a week ago, I opened the back door for Harry to go in the garden for a minute before bed, and the whole patio was covered in slugs....had never seen such an awful sight lol.
