This morning I was watching a mob of crows chasing and being chased by a couple of hawks when one of the hawks broke away from the rabble and decided to chase a bluejay who was waiting at our place for the next feed of peanuts.
The jay eluded the hawk who was probably a bit more spooked by my presence than the jay was.
The hawk will likely have a few more chances.
