Two bees

Two bees
I think the first, more obvious bee is a tri-coloured bee (if you look closely you can see the red haunches). He's face-and-almost-eyes into the forget-me-nots in our backyard.

The second bee is that blur near the bottom. I think it is one of the local species of miner bees, maybe a Clarke's miner.

Lovely spring moment, Justfolk. The color of the forget-me-not is so delicate and it's amazing they can withstand the weight of a bumble bee!

The bumblebees look heavy but, apparently, the folklore I heard as a child over a half century ago, that "bees are aerodynamically too heavy to fly," was just that, mere folklore. :)

Thanks.
