Within a couple of minutes of me putting the bowl of water out for them, Winking decided that he wanted cooling rather than a drink!!!!

Exactly - well you can imagine the state of the water after both of the chicks had a bath - but I didn't change the water - they'll be used to drinking out of puddles when they venture out and about.

Yes my family have been living here for 60 years and every year the seagulls have had their young on the roof. I'm sure the parents are previous young having been born there. I've called most of the young - there've been Stupid, Silly Billy to name but a few!!!

Ha ha - nee Fred, het was een oud ovenschotel dat ik toegeef, maar het was gewoon vol water. Ik deed dit alleen omdat de temperaturen zo hoog waren dat ik niet wilde dat de kuikens problemen hadden met geen water in de buurt
