The male Cardinal has been coming to the feeder all winter, but only at dawn and dusk. Today I finally had the opportunity to get a photo of him in the daylight, but he's still shy and keeps a good distance.

The reason the male Cardinal showed himself in the daylight - the Mrs. is out and about!

Sometimes I think people don't appreciate the absolute beauty that is the wild turkey. The iridescent effect in the feathers, the rich colors in the skin, the wonderful textures on the legs...they're gorgeous, as far as I'm concerned.

Not the greatest quality, but I was dealing with shooting through 2 windows, low light, and bobcat fever (shaky hands). Still excited that I saw this magnificent animal.
