The remains.

A section of Dunstaffnage Castle ruins,
The castle is built on an outcrop rock using what appears to be an odd mix of stone, (Large View) I think the colours of the stone in the wall to left are beautiful!.
The castle which was built before 1240 has a very defensive position having water on three sides, it covers from Firth of Lorn to the Pass of Brander also Ardmucknish Bay and the entrance to Loch Etive.
HWW to all!
