Ashton Windmill

This mill was built circa 1832 on the base of previous mills that worked on this site, it is 25 feet high and has sails 44 feet across, It is a four story mill and is grade two listed.

Situated on high ground on the Isle of Wedmore it was able to gather wind from most directions although primarily from across the Somerset levels.
