World Photography Day

As the image displays it turned out to be a damp and dismal day down here on the Somerset Levels,
However we braved the wind and rain to get a few ( very few) shots before retiring to a nearby coffee shop.
It may stand a large view

Roger (Grisly) club has replied to gezginruh clubDespite the featureless sky, you've still got some fairly decent light and some nice detail and colour in the landscape. The water makes a lovely leading line. I note the hay bales, but don't you find it annoying when they wrap them up........not a thought for us photographers :-)))
I hope you didn't get too wet and that you enjoyed your coffee!
Coffee and a scone won the day very quickly.;-))
p.s all the other fields had unwrapped bales, may well pop back later in the week, weather permitting.
Bonne soirée Roger.
Roger (Grisly) club has replied to Jocelyne Villoing clubI like this picture very much!
It is a very different and exciting composition, and a great match to Carol's picture.
Fantastic colours too, especially considering the sunlight available!
Best Wishes, HWPD,, and stay safe!!

Roger (Grisly) club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubbecause of the lack of pollution the light on the levels is generally very good even when the weather is not at its best!

Happy World Photography Day!
We will be back again next time !
Taking a picture and then a coffee ist a good way to spend a day ;-)
Roger (Grisly) club has replied to Boarischa Krautmo clubRoger (Grisly) club has replied to Peter Castell clubHappy World Photography Day, Roger.
I'm surprised to see the hay baled with black plastic. A big improvement on the white marshmallow types we always see here, I think!
Roger (Grisly) club has replied to Deborah Lundbech clubOddly enough in all the other fields bales were unwrapped, waiting to be collected for barn storage perhaps.
