Looks like good walking territory there Roger.........nowadays for me, a nice flat path or road is essential.

I love your composition here..........with the obvious leading line from the road. The avenue of trees is really lovely, with some beautiful autumnal colours starting to appear..........and the light coming through the trees is very nice. A pretty good start to the season, methinks!

You and me both Keith, I also pay much more attention to the weather than in the past.

Luckily I was able to park the car a short distance from here and have a good number of decent images, thank you for the interesting comments they are always worth reading!

I've probably said this before, but I've got to the the stage in my life when the further something is from the car, the less I feel like photographing it :-)))

Or the longer lens comes out of the bag ;-))

I sold my 100-400mm lens a while ago as I couldn't handle the weight anymore. My 40-150mm is my longest lens now:-(

I only have two these days, a 24-70 fixed f4 which I use for almost everything, and a 24-240 neither of which is very heavy!

ça, c'est un beau décor pour se raconter des histoires tristes, gaies, épouvantables ... En ce qui me concerne, je préfère les joyeuses. C'est une jolie prise, Roger.
