Just a little linguistic confusion, Andy. "Pommes de terre en tranches" could have been on the other side of the photo to "Scalloped potatoes".

I have met people who thought when they bought cheese that "Old Fort" was the brand name. I don't know what they make of the products labelled "Original Nature", "Regular Nature", and "Free Nature".

Sometimes I wish I had gone into marketing. So often I know I could have named various products so much better!

You'd find scope for work here, Andy. Often when a product has an English and a French brand name here, one is far better. Chatisfaction is a better name then Happy Cat for cat food, for example, and plain old English egg nog becomes Délici-Oeufs in French. And with trilingual labelling likely to become the norm, your knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage.
