John FitzGerald club has replied to Sarah P.That's Canadian government spelling, which is a mix of British and American spelling: For the last 25 years or so newspapers and news sites have been using it, too. Canadians can spell any way they feel like, though. The papers used to use American spelling before becoming patriotic.
