collage envelope #4: horror & darkness & everything nice


Cut-&-paste collage on a business-size envelope, front (above) & back (below). I made 4 in all for a swap partner who likes horror, darkness, usw. (The others were about birds: crows/ravens, black swan & peacock.)
Vampire bat & caption from a 1960s children's natural history book. Round buttons & cemetery monument from wackystuff's fabulous stream. Bone & lithotomy tool from an old surgical textbook. Splat & skull rubber stamps from Meer Image. "Carpe Noctem" rubber stamp from Gorey Details. Plus stickers from Gama-Go, and my own Pisceana artistamp.
I don't know the artists for the splendid long-nailed creature or the baby with chain saw, because they were magazine clippings given to me by another swap partner. If you do, please tell me, so I can give them credit!
