altered children's book about fish: rays pp. 3-4

Created for a collaborative mail art project: a 1960s children's book, Fish Do the Strangest Things (cover in comment here), is being mailed among a set of mail artists-- each taking 1 or 2 chapters to alter as we choose. The only rule is that we're supposed to leave original text & illustrations visible.

Collage additions to these pages are from an 1880s encyclopedia (white) & a WWII-era manual for American infantry on Pacific Ocean fishes (tan). (Sorry about how small the text is: you may have to click for the larger size to be able to read it.)
