Lancelot et Guenièvre occupent le banc! HBM

Depuis longtemps, on lie Lassay-les-Châteaux à la légende arthurienne, et plus particulièrement, à l'un des ces plus célèbres chevaliers : Lancelot du Lac. Fils d'un roi, il se prénomme d'abord Galaad, il est enlevé encore enfant par la fée Viviane (la Dame du Lac) qui le rebaptise Lancelot. Parvenu à l'âge adulte, il devient l'un des meilleurs chevaliers de la Table Ronde. Son amour pour la reine Guenièvre, épouse du Roi Arthur, le rend impur, lui interdisant ainsi d'accomplir la quête du Graal.

THE BENCH IS OCCUPIED BY LANCELOT AND GUINEVERE! Since a long time, Lassay-les-Châteaux is linked to the Arthurian legend, and more particularly, to one of its most famous knights: Lancelot du Lac. Son of a king, he first is called Galaad. He is kidnapped as a child by the fairy Viviane (the Lady of the Lake) who renames him Lancelot. Having reached adulthood, he becomes one of the best knights of the Round Table. His love for Queen Guinevere, wife of King Arthur, makes him unclean, thus preventing him from completing the quest for the Grail.

LANCELOT UND GUINEVERE BESETZEN DIE BANK! Lassay-les-Châteaux ist seit langem mit der Artussage verbunden, insbesondere mit einem ihrer berühmtesten Ritter: Lancelot du Lac. Als Sohn eines Königs wird er zuerst Galaad genannt. Als Kind wird er von der Fee Viviane (die Dame des Sees) entführt, die ihn in Lancelot umbenannt. Später als Erwachsener wird er einer der besten Ritter der Tafelrunde. Seine Liebe zu Königin Guinevere, der Frau von König Artus, macht ihn unrein und hindert ihn so daran, die Suche nach dem Gral abzuschliessen.
