Merci Marie-Claire, cela fait longtemps que cette maison était habité par un maire (il est décédée en 1977), maintenant ses héritiers y habitent. Et le maire d'aujourd'hui vit dans une maison plus "normale"...

Danke Stephan, das verstehe ich, noch dazu ist die Lage des Hauses einmalig : es steht auf einem Felsvorsprung hoch über dem Fluss Sarthe (sieht man hier nicht, ist auf der anderen Seite). Ein schönes Wochenende.

Danke Percy, ja, es ist traumhaft schön, aber liegt etwas ungünstig am Weg, den jeden Tag viele Besucher entlang gehen, um von der auf der Höhe liegenden Kirche aus dem 11. Jh runter ins Tal zur alten Kapelle gehen... Schönes Wochenende.

Thanks Steve. In this region most of the houses are built with these thick stones which gives a unique aspect to the landscape. Rain is also forecasted for our weekend, but at least it's a nice summer rain;-)

Danke Heide, soviel ich weiss, ist der spätere Bürgermeister ein paar Jahre nach dem 2. Weltkrieg von der damals hier vorhandenen Scheune ausgegangen und hat sie entweder als Wohnhaus verwandelt, oder vorher abgerissen und dieses Haus gebaut (das habe ich nicht heraus gefunden).
