Just Another Field ...

Been wanting to try and get some shots of the oilseed rape that loads of farmers around here seem to be growing at the moment and finally got a chance yesterday.

This was a field I came across on whilst exploring some of the small roads near to Kiplin Hall, North Yorkshire.

I know many people hate it as a crop as it can play havoc with their hay fever, but is sure adds some colour to the landscape.

Paul... I was referring to in East Anglia... England !! .Linseed was often grown side by side with the Rapeseed.

Never seen either here in the USA where I live.. but here they tend to call rapeseed 'canola" ! Its grown here yes.. but just not in my part of Oklahoma .

I really like this one Paul..............mainly because of the grey sky, It works very well with the yellow rapeseed and is a nice change from the usual blue skies images.

I usually take some shots of the rapeseed myself, but I haven't yet found any that enthuse me..!!
